In this three-day course, participants are exposed to the fundamentals of multiple Agile methods including Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming (XP) and Scrumban.  Participants explore the roles, ceremonies, artifacts of each method through a series of exercises, case studies, simulations, and discussion.  Participants leave with the ability to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each method and determine which one will best meet the needs of their current development efforts.

Agile Leadership

To be successful, Agile methods require transformation of the entire organization including those in executive leadership positions.  This course discusses the need for an Agile transformation, helps leaders understand how their culture will support or work against this transformation, and outlines the actions that they must take on both a personal and organizational level to give this transformation the best chance of success. This course is only offered as a private session.

Agile Testing

In this course, testing is explored from an Agile perspective. Topics addressed include Agile’s view of testing, how to develop strong acceptance criteria, Test Driven Development (TDD), test management, and automation. Participants examine these topics through a series of hands-on exercises and leave with a set of techniques they can apply immediately to their current product development efforts.

User Story Writing

This hands-on course uses your product to teach good user story writing techniques.  Attendees learn the crucial element to a good user story, its components, and how to split them in a way that allows them to be delivered in a single iteration or sprint.
